Daere Akobo
Daere Akobo is the Chairman of PANA Holdings and the owner of several businesses in Africa and Europe.
He is an inspired entrepreneur and a business mentor with a background in applied physics.
In his early career he developed expertise in the areas of flow metering, vibration and condition monitoring, instrumentation and control, which made him stand out and excel in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry.
Nowadays, his business focus has gone beyond the Oil & Gas and encompasses a variety of industries with promising growth potential.

Daere Akobo is the Chairman of PANA Holdings and the owner of several businesses in Africa and Europe.

Theodore Patsellis
Theodore is a graduate of the Athens Law University with an LL.M. in International Taxation obtained from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in Germany and a Qualification in German taxes obtained from the “Steuer Akademie” in Munich. He is a member of the Athens Bar Association since 1996 and an Accredited Mediator of the Greek MoJ since 2017. His professional path includes employment with Legal 500 law firms and the tax divisions of Ernst & Young in Greece, Romania and Serbia where he headed the legal and tax division for a number of years.
His professional experience expands across the fields of taxation and legal consulting to both, individuals and corporations, in Greek and International taxation, with focus on corporate legislation, direct and indirect taxation, domestic and cross border M&A. He led some of the biggest business takeovers and mergers in the Balkan region, including inter alia the Fresh & Co takeover by Coca Cola, the take-over of Novi 63 – a mobile telecom provider- by Norwegian Telenor (a 1,2 billion EUR project), the business transfer of Evolution SA (a yachting enterprise) to ACQ Italy, as well as the cross-border merger of Hill International Inc. – a US listed company transferring the European HQ from Luxembourg to the Netherlands.
Theodore has worked as a Tax Director for a US listed multinational with responsibilities comprising the support and coordination of the tax function to the group’s 40 subsidiaries with activities in Europe, the Baltic region, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
Theodore is currently sitting on a number of boards advising stakeholders in various industries and is also the legal representative of “Oliver UK” – an “Inside Ideas Inc.” subsidiary in Europe. Theodore has also participated in Oil & Gas related projects in Nigeria assisting legally in the negotiation of agreements for the introduction of novice technologies to the country’s Oil industry. He was also involved in the first ever Oil & Gas Mediation carried out in the country by appointment of the NUPRC (then DPR) involving the re-award of a revoked Oil field exploitation license.
He is the owner of a Boutique Law Firm established in 2013 in Athens, Greece with an international reach.
Mr. Theodore Patsellis

Callista Azogu
Mrs. Callista C. Azogu hails from Imo State and attended FGGC Gboko and University of Ilorin, bagging a MSc. Managerial Accounting, BSc. Accounting & Finance.
She joined Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (NAOC) in August 1996 as a Budget Analyst and rose through the ranks working through various professional areas in the Oil and Gas sector within the Eni (“AGIP”) group locally and abroad.
Her experiences span topmost level industry advocacy, Accounting, Finance, Nigerian content, Human Resources, Administration, Commercial.
She became a director of the company in 2015 and rose to the position of Deputy Managing Director from 2018 to August 2022 (Retirement date). In addition, she held the position of General Manager Human Resources & Organization of the Company from 2015 to 2022. She is the first female to hold the position in the over 60 years of existence of the Company.
She won the award of the first Nigerian Content Operator of the year for the Company and received the PETAN Chairman’s Outstanding Achievement Recognition Award for Nigerian content in 2015.
She was also a director of the Nigerian Agip Closed Pension Fund Ltd from 2015 to August 2022.
She participated actively in industry activities under the umbrella of the OPTS (Oil Producers Trade Section of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce). She chaired OPTS Nigerian Content (NC) Subcommittee for a few years and the HR Subcommittee from 2021 to retirement in August 2022, being actively engaged in NC and HR issues among others within the oil and gas industry. She held the co- chair position of the HR Subcommittee from 2018 to 2021.
She represented NAOC at NECA Governing Council for about 7 years and OPTS topmost level for about 4 years. She is a fellow of the following Institutes:

Mrs. Callista Azogu

Patience Oghogho Maseli
Mrs. Patience OghoghoMaseli hails from Delta state and holds a Masters degree in Petroleum Geology from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. She was employed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in 1983, after completing her national youth service with the Research and Development subsidiary arm of the corporation and deployed to Petroleum Inspectorate now Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), where she served the organization for 35 years. She occupied many important positions in the organization, such as Exploration, Resources Management, National Data Repository and Gas. Her last position was Deputy Director and Head of Upstream, a position she held until her retirement in November 2018.
She is an active member in many professional bodies including the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) where she is a fellow. Over the years, she has rendered her services in several committees, Sponsorships and fund raising Committee for annual NAPE Conferences Decoration, Electoral, a member of Think tank committee ; one of the founding members of Women in Geosciences and the first steering committee chairperson.
Recently , she was appointed as a member of the Advisory Council of NAPE. Other professional bodies include the Nigerian Mining and Geoscience Society ( NMGS ) ;
American Association of Petroleum Geologists ( AAPG) and Nigerian Gas Association ( NGA). Presently, she is the CEO of Marzoran Ltd, Nigeria.
Mrs. Patience Oghogho Maseli

Olushola Ephraim-Oluwanuga
Mr. Olusola S. Ephraim–Oluwanuga, mni, was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1986. He is the Head of Chambers of O.S Ephraim-Oluwanuga & Co (Legal Practitioners, Arbitrators & Notaries Public), a law firm with demonstrable area of practice including Commercial and Corporate Law, Capital Markets, Arbitration, Corporate Governance, among others.
He is a Chartered Arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), the highest gold status of the Institute. He is a Fellow of the Society of Construction Industry Arbitrators (2018). He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (2018) and currently serves as a member of the Governing Council of the Institute of Directors. He is also an International Scholar of the International Corporate Governance Network Headquartered in the UK (2008).
He has a Certificate in Corporate Governance from Kellogg School of Management Northwestern University, Chicago, USA (2018) after undergoing training on Effectiveness and Accountability in the Boardroom. Oluwanuga was one of the foundation Honorable Members (Federal Commissioner/ Judge) of the Investments and Securities Tribunal (IST) between 2002 and 2007.
He has served as an advocate of Investor Association in the post privatization period between 2000 and 2004, promoting the rights and interest of the investors in the South-Western States of Nigeria. He has served as Chairman and/or audit committee member of some companies such as First Bank of Nigeria Plc, UAC Property Development Company Plc, Con Oil Plc, Trans Bank Plc, National Salt plc, and, and currently serves as an Independent Director of Nigeria Police Pensions Ltd (a pension fund Administrator handling the contributory pension of all police personnel in Nigeria with assets under management of more than N800 billion Naira).
Mr. Olushola Ephraim-Oluwanuga

Ishaq Mohammad Nabayi
Ishaq Mohammed Nabayi is a professional with an extensive background in the energy sector, particularly in the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). He has held various positions of responsibility and contributed to important projects and initiatives throughout his career.
Mr. Ishaq served as the Special Assistant (SA) to the Group Managing Director of GMO NNPC. In this role, he played a crucial part in coordinating monthly meetings focused on accelerated revenue generation, bringing together government agencies such as the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). These meetings aimed to enhance revenue generation and streamline operations.
During his tenure, he oversaw the drilling logistics and progress of the KOLMAN! RIVER 11 WELL, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to timelines.
Outside of his role in the NNPC, Mr. Ishaq Mohammed Nabayi managed and steered management consulting companies, including Masshad Consult Ltd (Nigeria) and Nabayi Consulting LLC (United Arab Emirates).
Additionally, as the Group General Manager (GGM) of Renewable Energy, he successfully reactivated the AGASHA GUMA Integrated Sugarcane-Fuel Ethanol Project in Benue State, which involved a significant investment of millions of dollars.
Mr. Ishaq has a strong educational background, having graduated from the School of Management Studies in 1982/3. He obtained an Advanced Diploma and an MBA. He is a member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICMA), a Certified National Accountant (CNA), and a member of the Institute of Chartered Public Accountants (CPA).
Throughout his career, Mr. Ishaq Mohammed Nabayi has attended numerous professional courses and programs both locally and internationally. These include training in the World Fiscal System for Oil and Gas (London), Accounting for International Oil and Gas (Brazil), Oil and Gas Project Economics (Amsterdam), Crude Oil Evaluation and Pricing (USA), Financial Strategies in the Oil and Gas Industry (USA), and Effective and Profitable Refining Management (Paris).
In 2004 and 2006, he attended Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, where he furthered his education with courses related to his field.

Mrs. Ibiye Ekong
Mrs. Ibiye Asime Wakama-Ekong is a highly accomplished financial professional with a strong background in banking and finance. She has extensive experience in various areas, including financial management, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and corporate ethics. With a focus on retail banking, Mrs. Wakama-Ekong has worked excellently with international agencies such as IFC, A2F, and RBA.
Mrs. Wakama-Ekong holds a B.Sc. in Finance with a special reference to banking from the University of Lagos, and has completed an Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) at the Pan African University in Lagos. She also participated in the International Management Program (IMP) at the Pan African University and completed several certifications, including the Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Strategic Management in Banking from the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD) in France, and the Advanced Management Program from INSEAD.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Wakama-Ekong has demonstrated exceptional skills in financial analysis, business and strategic analysis, risk management, and investment/financial management. She has a proven track record of successfully delivering on assignments and implementing strategies to achieve organizational goals. Her strong networking and relationship-building capabilities have enabled her to build strong customer relationships and establish valuable connections in the industry.
Mrs. Wakama-Ekong has held several executive positions in prominent financial institutions. She served as an Executive Director at Skye Bank Plc, where she was responsible for the South-South Bank and the Retail Banking Group. During her tenure, she played a key role in revitalizing the bank’s business in the Port Harcourt region and significantly contributed to its growth and profitability. She also worked closely with state governments in taxation management and transportation system reforms.
Currently, Mrs. Wakama-Ekong serves as an Independent Non-Executive at Wema Bank Plc, where she holds various positions on the board committees. She is also the owner/manager of Demanta Nigeria Limited, overseeing the management of Vineyard Shopping & Entertainment Complex, rental facilities, and retail sales.
Mrs. Wakama-Ekong is a member of several professional organizations, including the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Institute of Directors (IoD), and Bank Directors Association of Nigeria (BDAN). She has received numerous accolades and certifications throughout her career, including being an Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
With her extensive knowledge, skills, and experience, Mrs. Ibiye Asime Wakama-Ekong continues to make significant contributions to the banking and finance industry in Nigeria. She is known for her delivery-focused approach, excellent management abilities, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Iyenemi Akobo
Iyenemi has been the backbone of the entire organization since its inception.
With a background in Business Administration and CLE training in various international institutions in London, Dubai and Harvard. She has become a central figure in the administration of the group and a valued contributor to the growth of the business structure.
She has held and efficiently managed key positions enabling and spurring the growth vision of the Chairman.
She is the Executive Director responsible for the Corporate Services Unit, additionally supervising the HR, the Commercial Services and part of the accounting functions. She is also driving the implementation of all Corporate Governance requirements on the ground together with a dedicated team of professionals.

Nneka Okani
Having 2 decades of experience in the area of Commercial Law with extensive transactional knowledge across the Oil and Gas industry value chain as well as Corporate and Project Finance expertise in energy sector markets, Nneka joins the Pana Holdings Group as its Vice President Legal and Compliance – providing enterprise wide Legal governance, risk management and compliance leadership across the Group’s Strategic Business Units.
Prior to joining the Pana Holdings Group, Nneka was Senior Legal Counsel, Aiteo Eastern Exploration and Production Company Ltd and holds several academic degrees including an MSc. Oil and Gas Trade Management from Regents University, London and MBA Global Business from Coventry University London, United Kingdom.

Elena Papanikolaou
Dr. Elena Papanikolaou is managing international Strategic Partnerships for PANA Holdings, where she has been working as a Program Director managing various projects since 2018.
She has a strong academic background, holding a BA – 1st class in Analytical Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, MA in Classics from the University of Cambridge, MMus from Codarts Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Rotterdam, PhD in Philosophy from the National University of Athens where she also successfully completed her Post Doctoral research and taught as an assistant lecturer for 10 years. She is located in Athens, Greece, and she is fluent in Greek, English, French and German.
Elena has a longstanding experience in working within different cultural backgrounds, a strong sense of organization and critical thought, a demonstrated effectiveness in managing multiple, cross-functional responsibilities and a proven ability to successfully lead a team and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to deliver results.
